Double Layers Cakerie is a cakery shop specialized in soft cake and buttery sponge cake. The terms of “Double Layers” are derived from Indonesia’s traditional cake named Kue Lapis Surabaya, means “Multiply layers cake from Surabaya”.

With so many shop selling Kue Lapis, to differentiate themself from other shop that selling Kue lapis and sponge cake, the owner decided to make it premium by using finest ingredients and sporting more “premium” look, hence the chosen font and colors to depict the image.

Beside designing logo, I also managing the social media post design, food pho- tography and packaging design as seen below.
Various packaging and stationery design are also created as a part of branding. Since there are quite a number of items to be sold such as paper bag, cake box etc.
